Letters to the Editor: Hubbard love

The Observer, Sunday 19 December 1999

Contrary to Richard Ingrams' column last week, L. Ron Hubbard never said the way to make a million dollars was to start a new religion. It was George Orwell who said something similar to this, but Mr Hubbard in fact funded all his considerable research into the humanities by his writings, with now more than 120 million copies of his books in circulation.
