Cruise dumps Scientology

TOM CRUISE has severed ties with the Church of Scientology - weeks after his beliefs led to his split from wife Nicole Kidman. Friends say the 38-year-old actor dumped Kidman, 33, after 11 years of marriage, because she wanted their children to be Catholics. Cruise, who filed for divorce last month, donated millions of pounds to the Scientologists.
